Development of Learning Management by Using CIRC with Skill Training Sets to Promote English Reading and Writing for Prathomsuksa 4-6 Students

Abstract

           The research aimed were to 1) to develop learning management by using CIRC with skill training sets to promote English reading for Prathomsuksa 4-6 students with required criterion establishment of 70 percent,  2) to develop learning management by using CIRC with skill training sets to promote English writing for Prathomsuksa 4-6 students with required criterion establishment of 70 percent, 3) to study the satisfaction of students towards learning management by using CIRC with skill training sets to promote English reading and Writing for Prathomsuksa 4-6 students. The target group is students in Pratomsuksa 4-6, Ban Donglan School, number of 8 people, obtained using the purpose sampling.

            The research instruments consist of 1) 8 learning management by using CIRC with skill training sets to promote English reading and writing plans, 2) 2 sets of skill training Sets, 3) Unit test, 4) behavioral observation form, 5) Students’ satisfaction questionnaire, 6) English reading and writing ability test. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean and standard deviation. This research was an action research based on the Kemmis & Taggart. There are 2 operating circuit. The results were as follows:

  1) The result of develop learning management by using CIRC with skill training sets to promote English reading for Prathomsuksa 4-6 students circuit 1, the average score of 66.88 percent, circuit 2, the average score of 78.75 percent which passed Criteria 70 percent as defined.

  2) The result  of develop learning management by using CIRC with skill training sets to promote English writing for Prathomsuksa 4-6  circuit 1, the average score of 54.36 percent, circuit 2, the average score of 74.38 percent which passed Criteria 70 percent as defined.

   3) The overall students’ satisfaction of students towards learning management by using CIRC with skill training sets to promote English reading and Writing for Prathomsuksa 4-6 students was at in the high level ( = 4.36,  S.D. = 0.40)
