The Development 0f Instructional Model Based on Constructionism to Enhance Creavitive English Writing for Mattayomsuksa 4 Students.

Abstract

This research is aimed to examine basic information concerning instructional Constructionism Model to enhance creative English writing skills in order to construct and develop instructional Constructionism Model to enhance creative English writing skills for Matthayom Suksa 4 students. The researcher also describes the conducting of experiments using the instructional Constructionism model designed for the purpose of evaluating and thence improving this instructional Constructionism model. The sample comprised 32 Nongnguluem Pittayakhom School students who studied in Matthayom Suksa 4/1 in 1st semester, 2018 by randomly selected group (Cluster Random Sampling). Data were collected using instructional Constructionism Model to enhance creative English writing skills for Matthayom Suksa 4, 6 lesson plans, academic achievement test, creative English writing skills test, creative English writing skills criteria, local self – esteem evaluation test and satisfaction questionnaire on instructional Constructionism Model to enhance creative English writing skills for Matthayom Suksa 4. They were analyzed through percentage, means, standard deviation, T-test dependent and content analysis.


Findings are as follows:


1. Developed Instructional Constructionism Model to enhance creative English writing skills for Matthayom Suksa 4 is called as “6S Model”. It is consisted of principle, objective, methodology, social system, responsiveness, supportiveness, including conditions and effects of using the model. The methodology of Instructional Constructionism Model to enhance creative English writing skills is and Submitting to community (S).


2. The efficiency of instructional Constructionism Model to enhance creative English writing skills for Matthayom Suksa Four was found to have an E1/E2 efficiency level of 81.06/80.20, there by surpassing the efficiency standard of 80/80.


3. The effect of using the instructional Constructionism Model to enhance creative English writing skills for Matthayom Suksa 4, Nongnguluem Pittayakhom School, Nakhon Ratchasima. 
3.1 The academic achievement of the students prior to and after study using the instructional Constructionism Model to enhance creative English writing skills for Matthayom Suksa four displayed differences at the statistically significant level of .01.
3.2 The creative English writing skill of students prior to and after study using the instructional Constructionism Model displayed differences at the statistically significant level of .01


4. In evaluating the level of satisfaction with the instructional Constructionism Model to enhance creative English writing skills by the Matthayom Suksa 4 students, the researcher determined that the student level of local self – esteem and satisfaction were at the highest level. comprised 6 steps; Sparkling (S), Searching, Scrutinizing (S), Summarizing (S), Showing & assessing (S)
