Abstract

Development of learning activities by using DR-TA technique with skill training sets to develop reading comprehension abilities for Mutthayomsuksa 6 students of foreign language department aimed  1) To develop the achievement of learning activities by using DR-TA techniques with skill training sets to develop reading comprehension ability for Mutthayomsuksa 6 students of Foreign Language Department to be effective according to criteria (E1/ E2 = 75/75). 2) To compare the achievement of learning activities by using
DR-TA technique with skill training sets to develop reading comprehension ability for Mutthayomsuksa  6 students of foreign language department before and after organizing activities. 3) To study about the Reading comprehension ability of students from organizing learning activities by using DR-TA techniques
with skill training sets to develop reading comprehension abilities for Mutthayomsuksa 6 students of
foreign language department. 4) To study the effectiveness index of organizing learning activities by using DR-TA technique with skill training sets to develop reading comprehension ability for Mutthayomsuksa 6 students of foreign language department. 5) To study the satisfaction of students towards learning by organizing learning activities by using DR-TA techniques with skill training sets to develop reading comprehension ability for Mutthayomsuksa 6 students of foreign language department. The sample group
in this research was 38 students of Mutthayomsuksa 6 of Prathai School, Prathai District, Nakhon Ratchasima
Province. Under the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administration Organization who are studying in Basic
English 12 (อ33102), semester 2, academic year 2016, which is obtained by clustering random sampling method. There are 5 types of tools used in this research : 1) 8 plans for 16 hours of learning activities by using DR-TA technique with skill training sets to develop reading comprehension ability for Mutthayomsuksa 6. 2) 8 books of skill training sets to improve reading comprehension ability for Mutthayomsuksa 6 students of Foreign Language Department about Traditions of the USA and the UK, each used for learning management
using DR-TA technique, 2 hours per book. 3) Learning achievement test for Mutthayomsuksa 6 students is a choice with 4 multiple choices of 40 questions. 4) Reading comprehension ability test for Mutthayomsuksa 6 students, which is 4 multiple choices 0f 20 questions.  5) Students’ satisfaction questionnaire for organizing learning activities using DR-TA techniques  with skill training sets to develop reading comprehension ability for Mutthayomsuksa 6 students of foreign language department. Statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test dependent.


The research found that :
1. The results of learning activities by using DR-TA technique with skill training sets to develop reading comprehension abilities for Mutthayomsuksa 6 students of Foreign Language Department that created had the efficiency (E1/ E2) at 76.11 / 77.50 which is higher than the set criteria 75/75.


2. Achievement from learning activities by using DR-TA technique with skill training sets to develop reading comprehension ability for Mutthayomsuksa 6 students of Foreign Language Department after the event is higher than before the event with statistical significance at the level of .01.


3. Reading comprehension ability of students from organizing learning activities using DR-TA  technique with skill training sets to develop reading comprehension ability for Mutthayomsuksa 6 students of Foreign Language Department had an average score of 15.42, representing 77.10 percent.


4. The effectiveness index of organizing learning activities by using DR-TA technique with skill  training sets to develop reading comprehension ability for Mutthayomsuksa 6 students of Foreign Language Department were 0.6286, equivalent to 62.86 percent.


5. Students’ satisfaction with learning by organizing learning activities using DR-TA techniques with skill training sets to develop reading comprehension ability for Mutthayomsuksa 6 students of Foreign Language Department in overall is at the highest level, with an average ( gif.latex?\bar{x} ) equal to 4.54 standard deviation (S.D.) equal to 0.19.
