Abstract
The development of music teaching style by using contemplative concept with Davie’s theory to promote the practical skill of secondary school students aimed (1) To study about basicinformationfor development of music teaching style by using contemplative concept with Davie’s theory to promote the practical skill of secondary school students. (2)To build and find efficiencyofmusicteachingstyle by using contemplative concept with Davie’stheoryto promote the practical skillof secondary school students that based on 80/80 criteria. (3) To study a trial results of music teaching style by using contemplative concept with Davie’s theory to promote the practical skillof secondary school students. (4)To evaluate the use of music teaching style
by using contemplative concept with Davie’s theoryto promote the practical skillof secondary school students. The data sources used in studying the basic information was Prathai School Curriculum for Art Department which included concept, theory and art teacher’s discussionin Prathai School.The data sources used to create and develop teaching styles were Mutthayom suksa3students,Semester1in Academic Year 2016 of Prathai School. The population used in the studying were 40 students of Mutthayomsuksa 3 Semester1in Academic Year2016 of Prathai School. Exeample used in the studying were 3 students of Mutthayomsuksa 3/3 Semester 2 Academic Year 2016 by using Group randomization.The tools used in the study were (1) Music teaching style by using contemplative concept with Davie’s theory to promote the practical skill of secondary school students. (2) Learning management plan according to the learning management model (3) Learning achievement test (4) The test to measure the students’ practical skills through the use of teaching styles. (5) Student Satisfaction Questionnaire Based on Teaching Model. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean ( ), standard deviation (S.D.) and t-test.
The research found that;
1. Basic information for music teaching style by using contemplative concept with Davie’s theory to promote the practical skill of secondary school students encourage students to practice their musical skills by focus on cooperative learning skills for the promotion of the ability derived from the thinking process, improve and apply for efficiency.
2. Music teaching style by using contemplative concept with Davie’s theory to promote the practical skill of secondary school students which included 4 elements :Concept, Objective, Teaching Process and measure ment and evaluation.There were fourstages of learning:1) Understanding 2)Takingaction 3) apply 4)evaluation and promotion.Whenapplied to 30field-based students, theefficiency was 81.83/81.56, which washigher thanthe80/80criterion.
3. Results of the trial music teaching style by using contemplative concept with Davie’s theory to promote the practical skill of secondary school students found that the students’ learning achievement of posttest was higher than pretest at level .01, the posttest performance was higher than pretest performance at level of significance .01.
4. Students are satisfied with their learning by using music teaching style by using contemplative concept with Davie’s theory to promote the practical skill of secondary school students in overall was at high level.
