The Results of Learning Experience Using Thai Folk Gameto Develop Social Skills for Preschool Children in Kindergarten at First Level, Age Between 4-5 Years

Abstract
The purposes of this research were 1) to find the effectiveness of the learning experience by Thai folk game to develop social skills for preschool children in Kindergarten at first level,age between 4-5 years, with a required efficiencies of 80/80 2) to study the effectiveness index of learning experience using Thai folk game to develop social skills for preschool children in Kindergarten at first level, age between 4-5 years and 3) to compare social skills before and after learning experiences by Thai folk game to develop social skills for preschool children in Kindergarten at first level, age between 4-5 years. The samples used in this study were boys and girls age between 4-5 years who were studying early Kindergarten at room 1/2 from Municipality School 1, Wat Thep Mongkol, Amphoe Mueang Amnat Charoen, Amnat Charoen Province which were composed of 27 students, in the second semester of academic year of 2015, and obtained using the cluster random sampling technique. The instruments used for the study comprised of: 1)15 learning experience plans: the average quality is 4.40-5.00 and the average was 4.71. 2) 15 sets of the Thai folk games: the average quality is 4.40-5.00 and the average was 4.68. and 3) 20 items social skills behavior test: difficulty (p) between 0.48-0.77, the discriminative power (B) is between 0.26-0.58 and the reliability value is 0.93.
The research findings were as follows:
1. The efficiency of learning experience based by Thai folk game to develop social skills for preschool children in Kindergarten at first level, age between 4-5 years had efficiencies of 90.74/87.59, which was higher than the criterion set of 80/80.
2. The Effectiveness index of encouraging social skills development of Thai folk game to develop social skills for preschool children in Kindergarten at first level, age between 4-5 years was 0.6902 which meant that the student’s learning achievement increased 69.02 percentages.
3. Comparison the experience had social skills of using Thai folk game to develop social skills for young children the first year of kindergarten, age between 4-5 year before and after the experience. Found that after higher than the previous level of statistical significance .05.
