Application Development on Arrangement of IPD Medical Record

Abstract

This research had the objective to 1) study situation, problem condition, teaching on arrangement of IPD medical record in the old format and the need of development of IPD medical record from 2) develop an application of on arrangement of IPD medical record 3) compare the knowledge before and after arrangement of IPD medical record by using hard copy 4) compare the knowledge before and after arrangement of IPD medical record by using an application 5) compare knowledge between and after training of arrangement of IPD medical record by using hard copy and after using an application 6) study the satisfaction of students to the application. The sample group used in the research were students of high vocational certificate program in medical Record, Year 1, in the number of 90 people. By discussion with the sample group 1 to study the situation, problem condition and the need of application to the sample group 2 to conduct the test before and after arranging patient record form in the paper, let the sample group 3 to conduct the test before and after arranging patient record form which patients use an application and conduct the satisfaction assessment to using the application. 

The research result found that students need to make an application with the content concerning arrangement of patient record form of IPD so that it would come out in the form of game. The development result of the application on arranging patient record form of IPD found that the application consists of the part logging in, menu inside the application, content and knowledge concerning arrangement patient record form of IPD with 7 main forms and 5 additional forms. As for pairing game, the score result and Logout, the result of finding the efficiency of the application concerning arrangement patient record form of IPD is at 80.19/80.89. The knowledge before and after arrangement of IPD medical record by using hard copy was different at statistical significance at the level of 0.05. The knowledge before and after arrangement of IPD medical record by using an application was different at statistical significance at the level of 0.05. The knowledge between and after training of arrangement of IPD medical record by using hard copy and after using an application was not different with statistical significance at the level of 0.05 and satisfaction level of high vocational students of medical record, year 1 to the application in the overall picture was at the highest level.
