The development of lesson application on android operating system: Detection of viral infection in medical laboratory

Abstract

The objectives of this research were as follows: 1)  To create and evaluate  the quality of application instruction media on android operating system 2)  To compare pre-test score and post-test score of student’s learning achievement after studying with lesson application instruction media 3)  To study the students’ satisfaction on using application. The samples were 57 students of the 3^rd year in medical technology program from the faculty of allied health science who were selected by purposive sampling. The statistical analysis in

data were mean, standard deviation, and the t-test. The results revealed that: The quality of this lesson application was good level in both content assessment and media assessment, which consist of mean 4.04 and 4.07, and standard deviation 0.65 and 0.54, respectively. The students’ learning achievement showed that the post-test scores were higher than post-test scores at 0.01 level of statistical significance. The satisfaction on using lesson application was at good level with the mean 4.30 and standard deviation 0.77.
