THE DEVELOPMENT OF RESERCH-BASE PROJECT LEARNING MANAGEMENT MODEL TO ENHANE CRITICAL THINKING FOR LOWER SECONDARYSCHOOL STUDENTS

Abstract

Abstract

The purposes of this research were (1) to examine,  analyze  and synthetic  the  compositions  and  procedures of Research – Base  Project  Learning Management  Model  to  Enhance  Critical  Thinking  for  Lower Secondary  School  Students  (2)  to  develop  the Research – Base  Project  Learning Management  Model  to  Enhance  Critical  Thinking  for  Lower Secondary  School  Students ;  and  (3)  to  assess  the  effectiveness  of  the Research – Base  Project  Learning Management  Model  to  Enhance  Critical  Thinking  for  Lower Secondary  School  Students.

The  results of  this  research  were as  follows : 

1. The Research – Base Project Learning Management  Model  to Enhance  Critical  Thinking  for  Lower Secondary  School  Students had  5 compositions which were 1. Principal   2.Objective    3. Content     4. Teaching  Method and 5.Evaluation.

         The Research – Base  Project  Learning Management  Model  to Enhance  Critical  Thinking  for  Lower Secondary  School  Students had  5  procedures  which were 1. Create  interest :C   2. Explore  the  problem : E  3. Searching  for   knowledge : S    4. Conclusion :C   and  5.Evaluation :E.  The  expert  had  examined  the  procedures which  were  tried  out  with 39  students  in  grade  8  of  Chalongrat  Rat  Uthit  School   and  found  that  the  overall  effectiveness  of  The Research – Base  Project  Learning Management  Model  was  better  than  before.  They also  found that  the  effectiveness  of  the  model  equaled  to  0.5 

1. The students’ posttest scores were higher than the pretest scores that were significantly different at 0.5 levels.


2. It was found  that  the  effectiveness  of the  Research – Base  Project  Learning Management  Model  to Enhance  Critical  Thinking  for  Lower Secondary  School  Students 

3.1 The  result  of  the  effectiveness of students’ posttest scores were higher than the pretest scores  that were significantly different at 0.5 levels.

3.2  The  overall  students  gained  their  critical  thinking  after  using  the  Research – Base  Project  Learning Management  Model  to Enhance  Critical  Thinking  for  Lower Secondary  School  Students   in  high  level. 

3.3 The  satisfaction  of  the  students  to  the  Research – Base  Project  Learning Management  Model  to Enhance  Critical  Thinking  for  Lower Secondary  School  Students were  in  high  level.

3.4  Teachers  and  school  administrator  satisfied to  the  Research – Base  Project  Learning Management  Model  to Enhance  Critical  Thinking  for  Lower Secondary  School  Students  in  high  level.
