Components of Learning Model Using Social Media with Constructivism, The Big Six Skills and Group Investigation Method to Develop Information, Media and Technology Skills for Junior High School Students in the 21st Century

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to synthesize components of learning model using social media with Constructivism, The Big Six Skills and Group Investigation Method to develop information, media and technology skills for junior high school students in the 21^st century 2) to evaluate an experts’opinion toward learning model using social media. The targeted group were 5 experts in the field of Constructivism, information, media and technology, curriculum and instruction. The research instrument was an evaluation checklist for learning model using social media. The data were analyzed by mean and standard deviation.

          The research found that 1) components of learning model using social media were principle, purpose, content, learning process and evaluation.The components of learning management using social media consisted of 6 procedures  (1) inform purpose (2) determine (3) plan to use information (4) management data  (5) apply data (6) evaluation. 2) The result of an experts’ opinion toward learning model using social media with Constructivism, The Big Six Skills and Group Investigation Method to develop information, media and technology skills for junior high school students in the 21^st century was overall an excellent  ( =4.60).
