The purposes of this research were as follows: 1) to develop the design thinking activities package to increase engineering design abilities with a required efficiency of 80/80 2) to study the improvement the engineering design abilities after using the design thinking activities package. The samples in this research consisted of thirty students. The instruments used for this research included the following: 1) the design thinking activities package to increase engineering design abilities; 2) the lesson plans.
