The Development Model of School Management Towards an Innovative Organization under Nakhon Si Thammarat Educational Service Area Office 2

Abstract

This purpose of this research were to: 1) study the condition of an educational institution as an innovative organization; 2) develop an educational institution management model toward an innovative organization; and 3) evaluate the effectiveness of the educational institution management model toward an innovative organization under Nakhon Si Thammarat Educational Service Area Office 2. This research employed a Mixed Methods approach. The sample group comprised educational institution executives, academic head teachers, and teachers, with a total of 336 samples, The samples were selected through a simple randomization. The key informants included three educational institution executives, an education administrator, two educational supervisor, and one academic head teacher selected by purposive sampling. The instruments in this study included the following: (1) a questionnaire assessing the innovative organization at condition of educational institutions; (2) a model for school management towards an innovative organization; and (3) an evaluation questionnaire for assessing the efficiency of the educational institution management model toward an innovative organization. a satisfaction questionnaire. The quantitative data were analyzed using mean and standard deviation. The qualitative data were analyzed using content analysis. Data triangulation was applied to validate the data.


The results revealed that: 1) The overall condition of educational institution innovative organization was moderate. 2) Factors for a model of school management towards an innovative organization were (1) principles (2) objectives (3) inputs (4) methods of implementation (5) output (6) success condition. 3) The evaluation of the educational institution management model toward an innovative organization was appropriate at the highest level.  It is most likely and useful at a high level.
