Development of A B And C Level License Curriculum for Professional Muaythai Referees and Judges

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to develop Professional Muaythai referee curriculum in the level of A B and C License. The purposive sampling method was applied to select 15 key informants and the simple random sampling was applied to selected 90 Muaythai Study students in Muban Chombueng Rajabhat University. The research instruments consisted of an interview on the guidelines to develop competencies of professional Muay Thai referees, a curriculum quality assessment, a knowledge test, and a skill performance assessment of the referees. The content analysis was adopted to analyze the qualitative data and the triangulation technique was used to examine the accuracy of the data. The quantitative data were statistically analyzed for mean, standard deviation, and the statistical significance test with dependent sample t-test. The research results revealed that the curriculum comprised its title, objectives, competencies, goals and output, participant qualifications, training period, measurement and evaluation, training completion, training contents, and extracurricular activities. After the implementation of the curriculum, it was found that their posttest knowledge mean scores were statistically higher than their pre-test mean scores at the .05 level, and their professional Muay Thai referee skills were at a high level.
