Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study information technology competency of administrator under Suratthani Primary Educational Service Area 1. 2) to study management information systems under Suratthani Primary Educational Service Area 1. 3) to study the relationship between information technology competency and management information systems of administrator under Suratthani Primary Educational Service Area 1. The sample for this study were school administrators 97 and heads school information technology division 97. The research instrument was a questionnaire which information technology competency base on Kanchit Malaivong and management information systems. The statistical treatments were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson’s product – moment correlation coefficient. The research findings revealed that 1) Information technology competency of administrator under Suratthani Primary Educational Service Area 1 was at a high level in overall and individual aspect, ranking from the highest to the lowest: attitude, knowledge and skills capacity. 2) Management information systems of administrator under Suratthani Primary Educational Service Area 1 was at a high level in overall and individual aspect, ranking from    the highest to the lowest: checking data, presenting data, collecting data, storaging data and processing data. 3) The information technology competency and management information systems of administrator under Suratthani Primary Educational Service Area 1, were related to management information systems at .01 level of significance.
