Abstract

                 This study aimed 1) to investigate states, problems and needs toward the information system development on the online school record, 2) to develop the information system, 3) to find out efficiency of the information system on the online school record, and 4) to seek for satisfaction of the information system on the online school record. A case study of Dong Mafai Witthaya School was employed. The approach of research and development was applied.


                 The findings of this study were as follows:


                      1. The states, problems and needs of the information system on the online school record revealed that the performance steps of the old system caused slow performance, faults, duplicate tasks as well as resource-consuming work. Thus, a new system was required in order to be able to manage the tasks systematically. In addition, it could keep files and present data with efficiency.


                      2. The development of the information system on the online school record through analysis, working system, states, problems and needs obtained the system in forms of application websites appropriate with the users’ needs. In addition, abilities appropriate on the management and presentation of the online school record with rapidity, correctness, and efficiency included: registration, recording and submitting of school record, processing of school record, report of school record, summary of school record as well as storage of school record with security.


                      3. The efficiency of the information system on the online school record, as a whole, was at the highest level. The aspects with highest level were the function test (\chi=500) and security test (\chi=500).


                      4. The satisfaction toward the information system on the online school record, in general, was at the high level. The security test was at the highest level (\chi=4.29).
