Abstract

The research aimed at 1) studying the present conditions of the school participation in student affairs service administration, 2) studying the problems of participation in student affairs service administration of the schools, and 3) presenting the model of participation in student affairs service administration of the schools. The total number of the research samples was 312  administrators, student affairs   students’ guardians,  community leaders,  the local government organizations. student council. The research instrument was the 5-scaled questionnaire. The mean and standard deviation were used to analyze the collected data.  The computer program was employed to define and describe the mean.         


              The findings of the study were as follows:


              1. The present conditions of the participation in student affairs service administration of the schools were presented as follows.  1) A group of people participating in some parts of the student affairs service administration (94.20%) was in a form of student affairs service committee.  2) The participation in student affairs service administration was at high level.  The level of participation in student affairs service administration was high.  The student affairs service framework was within 3 services namely, welfares and student services, student development activities, and disciplines and student administration.  However, there was another one service added in the good model schools called extra activities.        


              2. The findings of participation problems in student affairs service administration of the schools could be presented as follows. 1) A group of people participating in some parts of the student affairs service administration (94.20%) was in a form of student affairs service committee.  2) The level of participation in student affairs service administration was at moderate level.  The student affairs service framework was within 3 services namely, welfares and student services, student development activities, and disciplines and student administration.  However, there was another one service added in the good model schools called extra activities.        


            3. The components of participation model in student affairs service administration of the schools consisted of 1) the student affairs service administration committee, 2) the student affairs service framework, and 3) the student affairs service administration process.
