Abstract
The purposes of this research were to analyze science and technology textbooks from the science and technology learning area (Revised B.E. 2560), which included design and technology textbooks, and computing science textbooks in terms of contents, activities or exercises, and textbook elements, and to identify the textbooks’ outstanding points of design and technology textbooks, and computing science textbooks. The sampling textbooks were selected from 44 titles published by four publishers. The research findings indicated that the textbooks in terms of contents, activities or exercises, and textbook elements were overall at a good level. Overall, textbooks were outstanding for their contents in terms of learning standards and indicators, activities or exercises that emphasized the thinking process, and elements of textbooks with excellent illustrations, tables, and clear and attractive fonts.
