Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: examine problems of Prathomsuksa 4 students with learning disabilities (LD) regarding basic capabilities to create documents with Microsoft word, and 2) explore expectation and guidelines for developing capabilities, and 3) identified the development effects, and compared student capabilities before and after the intervention. The target group, obtained through purposive sampling, consisted of ten students with learning disabilities (LD) studying in Prathomsuksa 4 of Ban Erawan school under Loei Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. Research instruments included lesson plans, a learning behavior observation form, an interview form, a basic capability evaluation form distributing before and after the intervention, and a basic capability post-test evaluation form. Qualitative data analysis was done through content analysis. Qualitative data analysis was done through percentage, mean, and Wilcoxon.

            The findings revealed that before the intervention, students did not pass the assessment criteria, but after the intervention, eight students of the target group passed the criterion of 80 percent. After the intervention, students gained basic capabilities to create documents with Microsoft word, which were higher than those of before the intervention at a statistical significance of .01 level.
