Abstract

Abstract

         Objective of this study is to (1) study evaluation of OTOP Nawatwithi Tourism Community Project of        Samutsakhon  province by implementing CIPP method (2) study impact of OTOP Nawatwithi Tourism Community Project of Samutsakhon province and (3) study accomplishment of  OTOP Nawatwithi Tourism Community        Project of Samutsakhon province in line with Department of Community Development way. The researcher

collects data by using mixed method research collecting data from  (1) quantitative information provider 192     persons and (2) qualitative information provider 20 persons,  the research result sown as follows;
         1. The evaluation of OTOP Nawatwithi Tourism Community Project of Samutsakhon province

by implementing CIPP method shown that overall, mean is in high level with (1) context or environment           evaluation in high level and has higher mean than other topics. Tourism, product and service development       project as a base of income and job generation for community gains the highest in this topic.  The second is       (2) importation factor evaluation, overall, the mean is in average level. The highest mean on this topic is            readiness in necessary resources such as technology, plan, human resource,  budget, source of investment fund, material, location, equipment etc. (3) Topic on overall procedure evaluation has average mean by having highest mean in appropriate activity process and (4) topic on project achievement, overall, is  in  high level with highest level of mean from all topics.
         2. Impact of OTOP Nawatwithi Tourism Community Project of Samutsakhon province shown that overall mean is in high level by having (1) economy in high level and highest mean than other topics which this focus   on evaluation of   increasing income of community members since more tourists visit the community. The second range is mentality shown that the community values and proud in their own locality, this topic has the highest mean. (3) Impact on society is in  high level. The highest mean is on discussion, idea exchange which links everyone in the community and Establishes participation in the community. (4) Evaluation result on culture is in highest mean by having individual identity search,   culture and local wisdom making the community preserve and

continue their local culture.  And (5) evaluation on environment is in highest mean due to project establishment making all villages set up environment management measure.
            3. Accomplishment of OTOP Nawatwithi Tourism Community Project of Samutsakhon province in line with Department of Community Development ways, 5 steps, meet with defined target which result in identity           creation for the community and unique activity that attracts tourists. Moreover, Baan Don Kai Dee, Village no. 1, Baan Don Kai Dee Sub-district, Krathum Baen District is 1 of 50 villages in this country to be awarded as Model OTOP Nawatwithi Tourism Community which result in becoming more popular and attract tourist, study group and government sector to visit the community  more.
