Abstract

The purposes of this research were to examine the factors affecting teacher performance, to determine relationship between factors and teacher performance, and to create the equation to predict factors affecting teacher performance in secondary schools in Sriracha District, Chonburi Province. The samples were 196 participants, selected through simple random sampling using schools as a sampling unit. The reliability of a 5-point rating scale questionnaire was .97. The statistics used for data analysis were mean and standard deviation, Pearson's product – moment correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results indicated that all factors were at a high level in overall and individual aspect. Teacher performance was also at a high level in overall and individual aspect.  Every factor had a relationship with teacher performance at a statistically significance of .01 level. The predictive equation of factors affecting teacher performance was able to predict the equation at a statistically significance of .01 level and calculated as follows.
