Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) examine whether the teaching approach-Mixed Active Learning (MAL) affecting the student learning outcome (LO), and 2) compare whether the teaching approach between Creativity-Based Learning (CBL) and Flipped Classroom (FC) affecting MAL and student LO, and being an appropriate application. The mixed research methodology was employed with action research, quantitative and qualitative researches. The sample consisted of 150 students from College of Logistics and Supply Chain at Suansunandha Rajabhat University, drawn from 447 students through purposive sampling. The data collection methods included in-depth interviews and questionnaires. Data was analyzed through various statistical techniques to ensure reliability and validity in Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).


          The findings revealed that: 1) The teaching approach-Mixed Active Learning (MAL) had a direct influence to student LO with 0.77 at statistically significance of 0.05 level. The variance or changing of student LO depended on FC and CBL. The MAL variables could explain the student LO at 59 percent, and 2) FC and CBL had direct influence on student LO with 0.36 and 0.37, respectively, at a statistically significance of 0.05 level. Both variables could explain student LO by 51 percent, that is, It was better and more appropriate to integrate FC and CBL teaching methods affecting positive effects to student LO.
