Abstract

       They were three purposes of this action research: 1) To study of an alternative education administration of Doi Pha Som Homeschool. 2) To development of holistic learning and developing the holistic local curriculum of folk sector and its application towards ‘sufficiency economy' based on the folk wisdom of medical science. 3) To observe and study the participants' five life skills development or progressive to comprising (3.1) saving ability (3.2) patience (3.3) action learning ability (3.4) problem analysis and solving ability and (3.5) volunteer spirit mindset; through the local folk sector. The action research results were; (1) To study of an alternative education administration of Doi Pha Som Homeschool, the finding revealed that: (1.1) Goals and policy were determined to focus on the vision of moral, ethics, life skills, saving, patience, learning by doing and spirit voluntarily. Instructional management emphasized on integrated and flexible curriculum, developing the potential of students and student-centered instruction. (1.2) They were many hill tribe students in mix class, Hmong, Karen, Pa-O, Thai (2) To succeed 6-activities for alternative education administration and the development of the holistic local curriculum and its application towards sufficiency of economies based on the folk sector and the daily routine assignment for the students as well as the related community. (3) The students had developed the ability of active learning skills after accomplishing the 6-activities class. Gaining alternative medication knowledge from local experts allows them to apply in their daily life, not only different healing treatments, but herbal application. They can also further cultivate the learned knowledge to develop their future career in related fields. In addition, the in-depth observance, the 6-activities, folk section holistic curriculum obviously allows the participants to excel their 5-aspects of life skill.
