Abstract

            The  purposeof  this  research  is  to  propose  a  model  of  participative  management  in  health promoting  schools.  The  research  methodology  has  been  divided  into  3 stages:  1) Conditions  and problems  concerning  the  participative  management  of  health  promoting  schools  have  been  studied.  The subjects,  selected  by  a  cluster  sampling  method,  are  school administrators  and  health  teachers.  The  statistical  tools  used  for  data  analysis  are  mean  and  standard  deviation.  2)  A model  has  been  constructed  and  inspected  by  focus  group  discussion. 3) The constructed  model  has been  assessed  in  the  aspects  of  suitability,  feasibility,  accuracy,  and  utilization. The  subjects,  selected  by  a  multi-stage  sampling  method,  are  school  administrators. The statistical  tools  used  for  data  analysis  are  mean  and  standard  deviation.  

            The results  are  as  follows:  1) According  to the opinions of school administrators, the conditions concerning the participative management of health promoting schools, overall, are at a high level. Their opinions concerning its  problems, overall, are at a moderate level.
