The objectives of this research are 1) to compare the pretest and posttest results of mathematical learning achievement, 2) to compare mathematical learning achievement with criteria 70%, 3) to study the effective index of mathematical learning achievement integrated with local information, and 4) to study satisfaction of mathematical learning achievement integrated with local information. The samples of this research were 38 people of grade 8 students who have been studying at Wanghinwittayakom School, Bangkhan District, Nakhon Si Thammarat; they studied the foundation of mathematics in the second semester of academic year 2016. The research instruments were 1) lesson plans of linear equations with one variable
which were integrated with local information, 2) a mathematical test, and 3) students’ satisfaction survey towards integrative learning with local information using one group pretest posttest design. The data were analyzed by average and standard deviation.
The results indicated that
- The posttest scores of the mathematical learning achievement of grade 8 students,
Wanghinwittayakom School were higher than the pretest scores.
- The average score of the students’ mathematical learning achievement was 76.32% which was higher
than the criteria 70%.
- The effective index of integrative learning with local information was equal to 0.66 which was 66%.
- The students’ satisfaction towards integrative learning with local information was at the highest level
(μ = 4.63 , = 0.34). When consider each aspect, the highest levels were advantages of integrative learning, teaching management integrated with local information, and learning environment. However, mathematical content was at the high level
