Development of Motion Infographics to Enhance the Learning of the Hearing Impaired Students in the Special Education Program, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University

Abstract

The objectives of the research were 1) to develop and find the quality of the motion infographics and 2) to inquire the students’ satisfaction. The samples used to study consisted of lecturers and students from the special education program at Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University in a total of 5 people and 9 experts. They were selected by purposive sampling. The research instruments were a quality evaluation form and a questionnaire asking for the students’ satisfaction. The statistics used were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.   

The research findings were as follows.

1. The contents of the motion infographics were in the courses of the computer graphics and multimedia courses for learning on the color and graphic designs. The quality of the motion infographics was 1.19 which was higher than 1, so the motion infographics developed had the quality according to the Merguigans’ criteria. The findings of the evaluation of the quality by the motion infographic experts showed that the aspect of the illustrating pictures had the quality at the best level, the aspects of the contents, alphabets, animation, and interaction had the quality at a good level, and in the overall, the motion infographics had the quality at a good level.
2. The findings of the evaluation of the students’ satisfaction towards the motion infographics to enhance the learning of the hearing-impaired students in the special education program, Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University showed that in the overall, the students were satisfied at a high level.
