2 STRATEGIES FOR CREATING RADIO BROADCASTING PROGRAMS FOR PUBLIC RELATIONS: A CASE STUDY OF THE ROYAL THAI ARMY RADIO STATION 3, PHITSANULOK PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aimed to study communication planning, program creation strategies, radio adaptation in the media convergence era, and study the analysis and evaluation of the communication of the Thai Army Radio Station 3, Phitsanulok Province, using qualitative research based on the principle of selecting key informants that matched the research scope through in-depth interviews, divided into three groups with representatives from each group, including three key informants: radio station executives, program producers, and program hosts as practitioners. The data was analyzed using content analysis. The results of the study were as follows:


               The key strategy used in creating radio broadcasting programs is the participatory strategy, starting from production planning, selecting appropriate content, using various presentation techniques, and creating interest for listeners under laws, regulations, and policies related to the management of the Royal Thai Army’s broadcasting business, to support the state security mechanism to have the potential to protect the independence and security of the nation, religion, the king, the people, and the national interests, including developing the country to have sustainable stability, to be an army with honor, dignity, acceptance, trust, and reliance on by the people.
