Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) study the condition of academic administration in students reading and writing skills of Mae Ai district school, 2) study the level of factors affecting academic administration towards literacy, and 3) develop the predictive equations and policy recommendations for academic administration of educational institutions in students reading and writing skills of Mae Ai district school, Chiang Mai Primary Educational Service Area 3. The sample group for quantitative data collection consisted of 300 school administrators and teachers in Mae Ai District. The sample group for qualitative data collection consisted of 12 school administrators and teachers in Mae Ai District. The research tools were questionnaire and semi-structured interview form. The data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson correlation coefficient, Stepwise multiple regression analysis, and content analysis. The results revealed that the overall condition of academic administration in students reading and writing skills was at a high level. The factors affecting academic administration in students reading and writing skills consisted of man, money, material, and management.
