การศึกษาความเหมาะสมด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมและสังคม โครงการฟื้นฟูชายหาดและปรับปรุงสภาพภูมิทัศน์ หาดนาทอน เกาะสมุย จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี Environmental and Social Feasibility Study of Nathon Beach Rehabilitation and Scenery Improvement, Koh Samui, Suratthani

บทคัดย่อ

การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเหมาะสมทางด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม และสังคมของโครงการศึกษาฟื้นฟูชายหาดและปรับปรุงสภาพภูมิทัศน์เพื่อกิจกรรม ชุมชนและการท่องเที่ยวหาดหน้าทอน เกาะสมุย จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี โดยการใช้การประเมินสิ่งแวดล้อมเบื้องต้น ตามแบบตรวจสอบรายการ (Checklist) แบบสอบถามประกอบการสัมภาษณ์ประชาชน 381 ตัวอย่าง และการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้บริหารเทศบาลและผู้นำชุมชน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า สภาพปัจจุบันด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมของหาดหน้าทอนส่วนใหญ่มีสภาพปกติ พบสภาพเสื่อมโทรมหรือปัญหาเพียงบางส่วน ในด้านสภาพสังคมพบว่ามีปัญหาบ้างเล็กน้อยเกี่ยวกับยาเสพติด การวิเคราะห์ความเหมาะสมทางด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมและสังคมของโครงการพบว่า โครงการมีความเหมาะสมทางด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมและสังคม เนื่องจากประชาชนได้เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมโดยรับทราบโครงการ (ร้อยละ 77.9) ให้ความร่วมมือ (ร้อยละ 84.5) ได้รับความเห็นชอบและสนับสนุนโครงการจากประชาชนส่วนใหญ่ (ร้อยละ 87.0 และ 93.7 ตามลำดับ)

The objectives of this study were to study the environmental and social suitability and feasibility of the Nathon Beach Rehabilitation and Scenery Improvement for Community Activities and Tourism Project. The research tools used in collecting data included a checklist, a questionnaires for 381 local residents. The major and a community leader were interviewed. The study revealed that the environmental conditions of the project area were normal, with minor problems and some social problems. The project was environmentally suitable and feasible because it had more positive than negative impacts. The project was also socially suitable and feasible due to the informants’ access to research information (77.9%), level of participation (84.5%), degree of support (87.0%) and level of acceptance by the residents (93.2%).
