Community participation in the tourism management of Nong han Chai buri raft in Nakhon Phanom

Abstract

This research article has two objectives were 1) to study the need for community participation in the tourism management of Nong Han Chai Buri raft attraction 2)to propose guidelines for community participation in the tourism management of Nong Han Chai Buri raft attraction. This research is a quantitative research. The sample used in this study was purposive
selection. There was one sample group is people living in Chaiburi sub-district 399 people. The results showed that 1) the community needs to be involved in the tourism management of tourist attractions from suggestion, planning, decision-making, participation in practice. Sacrifice in various areas of development. Participation in sharing benefits. and monitoring and evaluation were at high level. 2) Community Participation Guidelines In managing tourism of the Nong Han Chai Buri raft attraction, for example, community leaders and people in the community should Including stakeholders in the area. Have the opportunity to plan, implement and evaluate by people in the community as committees. The government should help develop personnel in tourist attractions to have the knowledge and ability to provide efficient services. There is a transparent management system. Establish a credible committee It comes from the government and the community and must have a clear and concrete souvenir shop management system. There is a transparent audit management system.
