Thinking Abilities of Primary School Students Learning by Inquiry Method Enhanced the Higher-order Questions in Sciences

Abstract

The objectives of this research are to 1) study the Result of Learning Management by Pursuing the additional knowledge from advanced questions go through the ability of thinking. There are Critical Thinking and Synthesis Thinking. 2)Science achievement of 16 students, Prathom Suksa 5 of Banmai Sarapee School, Chiang Mai. It was held on the semester of academic year 2018. Research instruments were the lesson plans by pursuing the additional knowledge from advanced questions in totally 6 plans of Force and Motion. The ability of critical thinking and synthesis thinking (KR-20 = 0.75) and the effectiveness index of learning in Science for students (KR-20 = 0.73) analyzed data by Statistics for Mean averages and Standard deviation.

The results of this research were 1) the ability of critical thinking and the ability of synthesis thinking of students who have got learning management by pursuing the additional knowledge from high level questions, 2) also Force and Motion achievement of students who received learning management by pursuing the additional knowledge from advanced questions found the average after class is higher than before taking class.
