Participation Process in the Strategic Planning for the Faculty of Education to Strengthen the Identity of the University

This research was aimed at studying the strategic planning for the Faculty of Education to strengthen the identity of the University. This research used qualitative methods and participatory action research. Research process 2 phases (1) Data were collected from an open-ended questionnaire to determine Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) with lecturers from the Faculty of Education at Suan Dusit University and a target group of 13 people. (2) Criticism of data and strategic planning for the Faculty of Education to strengthen the identity of the University were provided by administrators, heads of program, lecturers, and officers, a target group of 8 people.
Finding: Strategic planning for the Faculty of Education to strengthen the identity of the University consists of 6 strategies. (1) Expand opportunities for sustainable development results through mindset, the paradigm of personnel to look for opportunities in challenging things and show identity to be known to the public. (2) Increase the achievement of educational quality by applying digital technology in education management. (3) Enhance cooperation with partners in all dimensions at the local, national, and international levels through Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE). (4) Increase academic confidence by promoting the dissemination of research and citations from research articles. (5) Promote the university's identity to the public through academic cooperation with foreign educational institutions
