Promotion Science skills of early childhood Children by Using a Series of Scientific Experiments

This research aimed to study 1) to study the effective of a series of scientific experiments to promote sciences skills of early childhood children 2) to compare sciences skills of early childhood children before and after using a series of scientific experiments. The population was 24 kindergartens, studying in K3 classroom at LA-ORUTIS demonstration school. The Sample was 5 kindergartens, studying in K3 classroom at LA-ORUTIS demonstration school selected by purposive sampling. The criteria of selection were 1) children's sciences skills have been to developed 2) parents allowed their child to participate in classroom action research. Research tools included 1) Plan for scientific experiments 2) a series of scientific experiments and 3) sciences skills of early childhood children assessment. The statistics used are mean, standard deviation and relative gain scores. Research results were 1) sciences skills of early childhood children found that the children had higher scores in sciences skills after the experiment than before using a series of scientific experiments. The overall mean score after the experiment was 2.85 and the overall mean score before the experiment was 1.90. 2) Comparison of sciences skills of early childhood children before and after using a series of scientific experiments found that the overall score of early childhood children had a developmental score of 78.13%. in very high level.
