Montessori Innovative Learning at Home

Abstract

The Montessori Innovative Learning at Home paves the way to the successful implementation of the Child Development Center of Muang Roi-Et Municipality, during the spread of the novel corona virus 2019 (COVID-19). Normally, since the academic year B.E. 2545, all children gained learning experiences through Montessori process at the Child Development Center. After the outbreak of the pandemic Covid-19 situation, the children had to stay at home, They could not come to learn at the Center. Thus, all teachers assembled, brainstorming to find the ways for the children’s learning to gain continuous development. The Center asked for cooperation from the parents to support their children’s development at home. In order to facilitate them, The Center prepared the learning activities timetable and the guidelines for parents to organize activities while working with their children as convenience, and to help evaluate the activities by using the google form, sending it back to the Center could apply the results from the evaluation to improve the cooperation between the parents and the Center in the future.
