The Readaptation to Onsite Learning of Undergraduate Students, Faculty of Science, Silpakorn University in a Post-COVID-19 Crisis

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study the re-adaptation to onsite learning of undergraduate students, faculty of Science, Silpakorn university in a post-COVID-19 crisis in the second semester of academic year 2022. The data was collected by stratified random sampling for a total of 203 students. The research instrument used was a questionnaire containing personal data and adaptation of students in 4 aspects, namely study and time management, society and environment, emotional and mental health, and participation in university activities. The data was analyzed using frequency, percentage, chi-square test and comparing the differences in the degree of adaptation back to onsite learning between each academic year using the Kruskal-wallis test.
The results showed that most students were the most adaptable in terms of study and time management. In terms of society and environment, students were the most adapted to cooperation in group work and dress according to the regulations of the faculty. Students had little or minimal adaptation to feelings of anxiety of leaving home and fear of studying in a crowded room. In terms of participation in university activities, students were most adapted to the operations of registration and documents that requires a complicated process and more steps but they were willing to participate in university activities. Results of association analysis between the re-adaptation to onsite learning after the COVID-19 crisis and independent variables were found that the variable that affected adaptation was the year of study. The 4th year students had the most level of adaptation in all aspects.
