การศึกษาปฐมวัยไทยและนานาอารยประเทศสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5

บทคัดย่อ

ช่วงรัชกาลพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาจุฬาลงกรณ์ พระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว พระมหากษัตริย์ รัชกาลที่ 5 แห่งราชวงศ์จักรีทรงเสด็จขึ้นเสวยราชสมบัติในปีพุทธศักราช 2411 - 2453 ได้เกิดความเปลี่ยนแปลงทางการศึกษาปฐมวัยทั้งด้านค่านิยม องค์ความรู้ และแนวปฏิบัติหลายประการ โดยระหว่างที่นานาอารยประเทศเกิดขบวนการศึกษาเรื่องเด็ก ไทยหรือสยามขณะนั้นได้เกิดปรากฏการณ์สำคัญ คือ เป็นการปรากฏของคำว่ากินเดอกาเตน การเปลี่ยนค่านิยมเกี่ยวกับเรื่องเล่นที่เคยยึดโยงกับการพนันมา เป็นการเล่นในฐานะคุณประโยชน์ต่อร่างกาย จิตใจ และการใช้ชีวิต รวมถึงมีการจัดตั้งโรงเลี้ยงเด็กอย่างเป็นทางการขึ้นครั้งแรก

Thailand’s Early Childhood Education and Civilized Countries in the World on King Rama V Era : Looking through the Past

During the era of King Rama V in 1868 – 1910, there was several changes in early childhood education in terms of values, knowledge and practice. While other civilized countries in the world were in the process of child study movement, there were also a phenomenon in Thailand or Siam about the presence of the word “Kindergarten” as well as the changing values of playing which was used to link with gambling to become playing that benefits body, mind and living including the first establishment of the nursery school.
