บทคัดย่อ

วิธีการเรียนรู้ของผู้ใหญ่มีความแตกต่างจากการเรียนรู้ของเด็กเพราะผู้ใหญ่มีประสบการณ์มากกว่าวิธีการสอนจึงเลือกใช้วิธีที่หลากหลายเพราะวิธีการสอนวิธีการใดวิธีการหนึ่งอาจไม่สนองวัตถุประสงค์การเรียนรู้ของผู้ใหญ่ได้ จำเป็นต้องใช้วิธีการสอนที่หลากหลาย ผู้สอนจึงควรต้องมีความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับวิธีการสอนผู้ใหญ่ ดังนั้นการสอนผู้ใหญ่ต้องยึดหลักให้ตอบสนองต่อธรรมชาติของผู้ใหญ่ นั่นคือต้องรู้ หลักการศึกษาผู้ใหญ่ ซึ่งโนลส์ เรียกวิชาการศึกษาผู้ใหญ่นี้ว่า แอนดราโกจี (Andragogy) ประกอบด้วย มโนทัศน์ของผู้เรียน (Self – Concept) ผู้ใหญ่จะมีลักษณะที่เติบโต ทั้งด้านร่างกายและจิตใจ มีวุฒิภาวะสูง มโนทัศน์ต่อตนเอง จะพัฒนาจากการพึ่งพาผู้อื่นไปเป็นการนำตนเอง ประสบการณ์ของผู้เรียน (Experience) ผู้ใหญ่มีวุฒิภาวะมากขึ้น มีประสบการณ์อย่างกว้างขวางที่จะเป็นแหล่งทรัพยากรอันมีค่าของการเรียนรู้ ขณะเดียวกันก็จะมีพื้นฐานที่จะเรียนรู้สิ่งใหม่ๆ ความพร้อมที่จะเรียน (Readiness) ผู้ใหญ่มีความพร้อมที่จะเรียน เมื่อรู้สึกว่าเนื้อหาเหล่านั้นจำเป็นต่อบทบาทและสถานภาพทางสังคมของตน และแนวทางการเรียนรู้ (Orientation to learning) ผู้ใหญ่จะมุ่งเน้นว่าการเรียนรู้นั้นสามารถนำไปใช้ในการปฏิบัติงานได้ทันทีScience and Art of Teaching Andragogy
