Learning Management According to Gagné Concept Combined With Multimedia to Promote Learning Retention and Satisfaction on Learning of Light and Vision of Students in Grade 2

Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) compare the learning achievement of Grade 2 students in Gagné concept combined with multimedia learning management to the criteria of 70 percent, 2) evaluate learning retention on Light and Vision among Grade 2 students after two weeks of the intervention and 3) assess students' satisfaction on the learning management. The sample of the study comprised of 35 Grade 2 students from a classroom of Anuban Kitiya School during the second semester of the 2023 academic year. Research instruments included: 1) lesson plans based on Gagné concept combined with multimedia learning management, 2) a learning achievement test, and 3) a students’ satisfaction inventory. Data analysis statistics were mean, standard deviation, percentage and the dependent t-test. The results revealed that: 1) students in the learning management had post learning achievement of the significantly higher than the 70 percent criterion at the .05 level of significant, 2) students in the learning management had no significant different in learning achievement after the intervention immediately and 2 week after the intervention, and (3) students reported high satisfaction (= 4.38, S.D. = 0.76) on the learning management of Light and Vision.
