Abstract

The research on 'Problems and Obstacles in Online and Blended Teaching during the COVID-19 Outbreak: A Case Study of Language and Literature Teaching' was conducted in the fiscal year 2023. The objective of this study was to examine the problems and obstacles encountered in organizing online and blended teaching during the COVID-19 outbreak, specifically in the fields of language and literature. The research found that the content of language-related subjects and subjects requiring practical skills are not suitable for online and blended learning. However, the content of literature-related subjects can be adapted for online and blended teaching. This research aligns with Strategy 4, which focuses on creating opportunities and social equality. The primary goal is to promote fairness and reduce inequality within the educational dimension. This involves decentralizing economic and social progress and increasing opportunities for all sectors to actively contribute to national development at every level. Additionally, studying and analyzing these problems and obstacles will lead to improvements in the teaching and learning process and the development of the Thai language curriculum in the Department of Humanities, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
