The development of computer assisted instruction for supporting desirable character of integrity in science subject for secondary school students

Abstract

Desirable characters of students for integrity are necessary to be placed correctly. A development of learner in 21st century more focuses on development of ethical integrity. Since there are many distractions led to less integrity together with media presenting inappropriate behavior without punishment. Then, this research aims to develop computer assisted instruction (CAI) and enhancing the desirable character of integrity in Science subject for secondary school student with the objectives of 1) development of CAI the effectiveness criteria of 80/80 2) comparison pre-test and post-test for the integrity with the developed CAI and 3) study the satisfaction of students towards the study by the CAI.  The result shown that 1) the developed  CAI  is efficient E1/ E2 equals to 85.00/82.50  2) students’ post-test score is higher than pre-test score after using the CAI at significant level .01 and 3) students are satisfied with the CAI at the maximum level since the development of CAI research is conducted aligning with systematic research and development. It caused the effective CAI enhancing the desirable character of students’ integrity
