BRINGING CHILDREN TO THE KITCHEN BY EARLY CHILDHOOD CURRICULUM B.E. 2560

Abstract
Skills and development are important and should be promoted for young children. One of the activities that help promote skills and development for young children is the kitchen. The kitchen for young children is an activity that allows them to learn through direct experience from the real work, as well as helping to promote the development and skills of children appropriately. Teachers and parents play important roles in helping to prepare the kitchen for young children. In this article, it provides knowledge about the definition, types and raw materials selection, preparation of utensils and equipment, cooking methods, cleaning kitchen utensils as well as various knowledge and skills young children receive, the role of teachers and parents in preparing young children to do kitchen work in accordance with the learning experience management for young children in accordance with the 2017 Early Childhood Education Curriculum which teachers and parents can adapt to their own context.
