Abstract


Teachers are high-professionals and social person who assumes the roles and responsibilities expected by society in many respects. Namely, intellectual leadership, enrichment of human life, creative, educate, instilling morals and ethics for students, human resource developer, protect nation and a social healer. "Teachers" are people who are very important to educational institutions. Faculty of Education Silpakorn University institution that produces and develops teachers and educational personnel has realized the importance of a teaching profession and educational personnel must be highly esteemed, the conservation of good Thai culture and traditions. "Kurusit Ceremony" was initiated in 1979 on the ancient traditions of Thailand and applied to create a beautiful heritage of teachers and education. Kurusit Ceremony development from Krob Kru Ceremony and Wai Kru Ceremony, in according to the faith of the general people, that is the students show their gratitude to the teachers. If they have gratitude, they will succeed and can overcome obstacles in their profession. Therefore, the Faculty of Education has organized this Kurusit Ceremony for students who are going to graduate and go out to practice their profession. This make an appreciate, pride, and realize the value of being a creator. The educator who gives knowledge instilled morals and ethics in the learners. Based on the above concept, the Faculty of Education has continued this ceremony from 1979 to 2021 for 42 years until the present. To encourage it as a good tradition to promote gratitude and delivering a teacher spirit to a new generation. To be a good model that is prevalent in Thai society in modern times.
