Abstract
The purposes of this research were: 1) to test the quality of lesson plans by cooperative learning with educational games. 2) to compare the students’ achievement in spelling abilities with a 60 percent score after using the cooperative learning with educational games. 3) to survey the students’opinions toward the cooperative learning with educational games. The sample of this research were 15 third grade students of Watrajchakrue school, Thonburi, Bangkok during the second semester in the academic year 2020. The instruments used for gathering the data were: 1) the lesson plans by cooperative learning with educational games, 2) the achievement test,
3) a questionnaire of student’s opinions toward the cooperative learning with educational games. The data were analyzed by percentage, means, standard deviation and content analysis.
The results of this research were as follows:
1) The quality of the lesson plans using the cooperative learning with educational games meets the criteria of index of item objective congruence at 1.00.
2) The word spelling writing achievement of third grade students after using the cooperative learning with educational games were 64.22%, which is higher than the required rate of 60.00 percent.
3) The students’ opinions toward the cooperative learning with educational games were at higher level.
