Counseling Psychology : The important instrument for solving student’ s problem

Abstract

Helping students is the important mission of teachers because students are adolescents that have many problems, for examples , from family , learning and friends. They can not manage their problems because of a little experience. So they request helping or suggestion from confidential teacher, and confident their teachers can help them to solve their problems. The efficiency counseling must counseling psychology. Teachers, who are counselor, must training and practice for counseling process. The counseling process consists 5 steps : 1) Attending  2) Exploration  3) Understanding  4) Action  5) Termination , for talking between teacher and student in informally environment for disclosing their real stories with pleasantness. Counseling is necessary many basic skills for examples, listening , questioning , rapport , reflection of feeling , paraphrasing , summarizing , encouraging and informing, to talk and concern counselee’s story. The efficiency counseling is counselee feel relaxing , has good attitude in their life , has method for managing their problems and choose decision to solve the problem by themselves.
