The Learning Management Using Kahoot Application to Enhance Students’ Learning Achievement in Thai Literature

Abstract
This study aimed to 1) compare Mathayom1 students’ learning achievement in Thai Literature before and after using Kahoot Application and 2) study Mathayom1 students’ satisfaction on learning Thai literature using Kahoot Application. The sample group consisted of 36 Mathayom1 students at a demonstration school, studying in Semester 1 of Academic Year 2017. The research instruments included 1) eight 50-minute Thai literature learning management plans on Phra Chai Suriya epic using Kahoot Application, 2) Kahoot Application, 3) 30 multiple choices of pretest and posttest, and 4) a student’s learning satisfaction assessment form. Mean, standard deviation, and t-test Dependent were used for statistical data analysis. The results revealed that 1) students’ learning achievement in Thai Literature after using Kahoot Application was higher than the one before using it with a level of significance at .05; the students’ posttest scores ( = 12.53) and their pretest ones (= 20.58) and 2) the students’ satisfaction on learning Thai literature using Kahoot Application was at the highest level ( = 4.8).
