Teacher’s Managerial Competency for Teaching Activities Performance in Piboonbumpen Demonstration School; Burapha University

Abstract

This research is a descriptive research aimed to study teachers’ activities in teaching performance managerial competency in Piboonbumpen Demonstration School; Burapha University. The sample in the study was 118 teachers. The research instrument was teachers’ activities in teaching performance managerial competency questionnaire (Likert’s scale). The percentage (%), mean ( ), standard deviation (S.D.) and the modified priority needs index (PNImodified) were used for data analysis. The research results found that activities in teaching performance managerial competency in Piboonbumpen Demonstration School; Burapha University as follow; degree of successes were high level, index of expectation were the highest level, development needs assessment found out that needs for development as follow; teachers’ leadership competency, teachers’ team working competency, lesson plan planning competency and teaching communication competency.
