The Development of Activity Package of Scientific Inventions Project for Matthayomsuksa Five Students Under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 33

Abstract

The purposes of this research were (1) to develop the activity package of scientific inventions project for Matthayomsuksa 5 students which has the efficiency of standard criteria 80/ 80 (2) to compare the ability of learning achievement of Matthayomsuksa 5 students before and after learning activities by using the activity package of scientific inventions project (3) to compare the ability of science process skills of Matthayomsuksa 5 students before and after learning activities by using the activity package of scientific inventions project (4) to study the quality of scientific inventions on learning activities by using the activity package of scientific inventions project and (5) to study the students’ satisfaction towards on learning activities by using the activity package of scientific inventions project. The samples of this research were 32 Matthayomsuksa 5 students in Kap Cheng Wittaya School, under Secondary Education Service Area Office 33, in the second semester of academic year 2016, which were selected by purposive random sampling technique. The research instruments consisted of (1) 6 activity packages of scientific inventions project (2) 6 lesson plans (3) 60 items of learning achievement test (4) 30 items of science process skills test (5) evaluation form of scientific inventions, and (6) students’ satisfaction questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and t - test. The research findings were found as follows : 1. The efficiency of the activity package of scientific inventions project for Matthayomsuksa 5 students was at 80.27/81.51. 2. The ability of learning achievement of Matthayomsuksa 5 students after learning activities by using the activity package of scientific inventions project was higher than before learning. There was statistically significant difference at the .05 level. 3. The ability of science process skills of Matthayomsuksa 5 students after learning activities by using the activity package of scientific inventions project was higher than before learning that was statistically significant at the .05 level. 4. The quality of scientific inventions of Matthayomsuksa 5 students after learning activities by using the activity package of scientific inventions project was at high level. 5. The satisfaction of Matthayomsuksa 5 students after learning activities by using the activity package of scientific inventions project was at highest level.
