Abstract

The purposes of this research were to find academic administration and the guidelines for academic administration of mainstream school in the South Krungthon Group under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. The population were 19 schools of the South Krungthon Group. The respondents were total of 38 respondents. The research instrument was a questionnaire about the academic administration. The research statistics were frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and content analysis The findings were as follows : 1. Academic administration of mainstream school in the South Krungthon Group under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, as a whole and as an individual were at high level, ranking from the hightest to the lowest : learning administration, academic supervision, academic quality assurance, school administration, research to develop educational quality, academic plan, development of innovative media, technology and learning resources, and community involvement. 2. The guidelines for academic administration of mainstream school were as follow : should have meeting with accessory persons to create academic plans and creating the courses which conform to potential of student, individual analysis and create especially plan, and creating criterions to assess learner clearly.
