Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: compare the emotional intelligence and resilience before and after participating in a guidance program; and compare the emotional intelligence and resilience of the experimental and control group. The research sample was 30 undergraduate students in education studying at Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, derived by simple random sampling. The sample was divided into 2 groups: 15 participants in experimental and control groups. The research instruments included a guidance program, an emotional intelligence test, and a resilience test. The statistics used in the research were mean, standard deviation, and the t–test. The results of the study were as follows:


The students’ emotional intelligence and resilience after participating in the guidance program was higher than that of before with statistical significance at .05. Additionally, the emotional intelligence and resilience of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group with statistical significance at .05.
