A Study of the Readiness of the Logistics, Products and Services of Border Trade Thailand - Cambodia Surin Province

Abstract

          The objectives of this research were: 1) to investigate the current situation of Problems and barriers in the logistics system of goods and services on the Thai- Cambodia border trade. 2) Investigate the potential and readiness of the logistics system for goods and services within the framework of  Thai- Cambodia border trade. 3) Prepare recommendations on logistical management guidelines for border trade between Thailand and Cambodia in Surin Province. Collecting from entrepreneurs selling goods and logistics services in the market area of Chong Chom, Kap Choeng District, Surin Province. In terms of trade and services or logistics service providers within the Thai- Cambodia border area trade      Chong Chom border area of Surin province. Using a specific sampling approach, 254 patients were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Using a baseline statistical analysis, the frequency, percent were obtained. The results of the study on logistics information, goods and services management Thai- Cambodia border trade mainly uses online reduction strategies. This is primarily a retail sale, the merchandise being stored in stores for resale. A study on the potential and preparedness of logistic systems for goods and services on Thai- Cambodia border trade in Surin province. Infrastructure, service providers, freight forwarders and policies in the four areas have not yet ready to improve, develop and implement the technology. In order to be ready to become a standardized market as a tourist support future economic growth.
