Abstract

A research study on factors affecting the decision to choose an airline for travel among the elderly in Bangkok and its vicinity. The researcher collected data using questionnaire as a tool for this research. The sample used in this research was the elderly in Bangkok and its vicinity. 400 people in Bangkok and vicinity, namely Pathum Thani, Nonthaburi and Samut Prakan.
The Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) method can be classified into 4 factors: 1) Convenience of Booking, 2) Economics Cost & Benefit, 3) Various Flight Route to Match Travel Purpose,
4) Brand Image & Service Quality. Study on the relationship of such factors influencing the decision to choose to travel airlines among the elderly with a multiplication regression analysis. The results of the study showed that all of mentioned factors has a positive influence on the decision to choose an airline to travel among the elderly in Bangkok and its vicinity significantly.
