The The Study for Proposing Guidelines for the Tourism Supply Chain Potential Development in Chanthaburi Province

Abstract
The objectives of study, offering a potential developing guideline on the tourism supply chain in Chanthaburi Province, were to study situations and condition, analyze competence and potential of tourism supply chain and develop the tourism network in Chanthaburi province to propose the improvement guidelines on tourism supply chain. The qualitative and quantitative data was collected, then analyzed to find out the conclusion in each objective.
The research results:
Tourism supply chain in Chanthaburi Province can divide in 4 parts as (1) travel product (2) tourism industry (3) food supply and (4) facility, thus, main-related agencies have 8 group including (1) tourism support and drive group (2) conveniences and facilities group (3) public relations and tourism promote group (4) tourism human resource development group (5) plan and support in food supply group (6) tourist attraction entrepreneur group (7) travel business group and (8) tourist guide entrepreneur group
Hence, tourism support competence of Chanthaburi province contains with the completely city, happiness city, wisdom city, way of life and culture city, food science city, fruit city, gem city and green city.
Guidelines for the tourism supply chain potential development in Chanthaburi Province present “Kin De You De vi tee Chan” which reflexs the identity of local living under tourist resouces in 3 ways as (Dining food, ways of life and local living) in term of “Chan-well being tourism city”. Target of tourism supply chain potential development in Chanthaburi Province includes (1) competence and potential improvement in agriculture material, processing product promotion and signature menu to worldwide perception, also improvement the safety-produced area along with tourism development (2) developing for exploration, recovery, maintain and transfer the uniqueness in culture, history and wisdom; launching and developing the learning activity on way of local-community life; developing and value added generating for local-community goods linked with local food and living to tourism market and (3) improvement in conservation mechanism and activities and development in area through responsible tourism activities; the quality tourism network creation and development through learning activities; and improving facilities for future tourism.
